Using AllClients Landing Pages with Wordpress - Manual Install
If you would like to integrate your Wordpress site with you Landing Page, use our Wordpress Plugin.
We only recommend you follow these steps if you have talked to support and they recommend you use the Manual Install.
If you have not been referred to this article by support, please refer to the Easy Install version of this.
It is much easier to use. Here is the link: http://kb.allclients.com/m/6807/l/358458-using-allclients-landing-pages-with-wordpress-easy-install.
Download the Plugin.
Choose the previously downloaded Plugin ZIP file and click Install Now.
After activation, you will be taken back to the Plugins list. Click the Settings link directly below the AllClients Plugin.
For the next step you will need your AllClients API key from your account. Go to Settings, API Settings to get it. You may need to click the Generate API Key button if you have not generated one before.
The Account ID and API Key above were blurred so as not to create confusion. You will want your unique information.
Enter you Account ID, API Key and click Test Connection. You will get a “Success!” message if your API credentials are entered correctly.
After you check the “Enabled” checkbox for Landing Pages, these details will appear. This lets you customize the URL structure of your Landing Pages.
Note: AllClients Landing Pages can be in the Site Root, but only if you use the “Post name” permalink structure. Do not change your permalink structure without full knowledge of how this can affect your Wordpress sites existing links. This can be damaging to your site, so do not change your permalink structure without advanced Wordpress knowledge. If your site is already live and not already in the “Post name” structure, we recommend you put your AllClients Landing Pages “In Folder”. You can give this folder a name like “landing” or “p”.
