Advanced - Changing the background color on the email newsletter

We do not recommend editing the color on the Email Newsletter templates unless you are an advanced user. To update the background color, we will be editing the email's HTML code.

Go to Settings, Email Settings and click on the name to open the Email Newsletter Template

Use the Newsletters and Samples button to bring the newest version of the newsletter into your account if it is not already in your account.

Click the Source Code icon in the top right. It looks like this:  < >.

To change the color for the top yellow header of the newsletter, look for the ffffcc color code and replace it with your selected color code.

If you are not sure what color code you would like to use, we recommend you use an HTML color picker. We use https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp

To change the color of the gold column on the left side of the page, look for the e9e7b6 color code and replace it.

Once you have your new codes in place click OK to save your changes.

View your email and make sure the colors look correct, then send yourself a test email.
